Midfielder Liverpool, Jonjo Shelvey hoping two goals in the Europa League could help him become a starter in the game counter Manchester United tomorrow.

In the Europa League match at home to Young Boys, Shelvey entered as a substitute in the second half, with two goals a decisive victory of the Reds in the first competitive event this season.

Coach Brendan Rodgers admitted, a number of players who appeared in the game last Wednesday to compete for a position in the squad which will be reduced in the Premier League match versus the Red Devils.

And Shelvey is one that looks so enthusiastically look forward to the big game, as well as to be considered a part of the biggest derby in England.

"I hope my game to make sure the place for the match on Sunday, but you do not know what the coaches are thinking," said the England U-21 is.

"There is no bigger game for Liverpool, in addition to face United at home. Atmosphere will thrill and I want to be part of the game."

In the match at Anfield tomorrow night, both teams are planning to set up a tribute for a moment, to commemorate the 96 victims of the Hillsborough tragedy. (TDM / atg)
